My name is Bryson Halsey, I'm a mechanical engineering student with a passion for robotics, controls, and working with my hands. At a young age, I discovered my interest in making and designing, which provided a fantastic entry when I was invited to help start the first FIRST Lego League (FLL) team in my school district. My 5 years in that program allowed me to gain a solid foundation of skills and experiences that helped me leap to the next step in high school when I joined the FIRST Robotics Competition (FRC) team. During these years I discovered my true interests and took on as many opportunities to attempt to satiate my endless hunger for learning and trying more. CAD, welding,  and machining contributed to my growth in technical knowledge, while my progression in the Boy Scouts worked to build my leadership and interpersonal relationship skills. This continued into my college experience, as I took on leadership roles in 4 clubs, worked with my professors on research studies, and filled whatever time I had left over following whatever current project I am obsessed with.
My life goal is to gain the tool-belt of skills and variety of experiences to allow me to create whatever ideas I can imagine.
